Psychiatric Evaluation

I provide a thorough psychiatric evaluation in order to understand the difficulties you are experiencing in order to determine the best treatment options to help you.
The evaluation will consist of one to two 45-minute sessions. When I evaluate a child or teen I include parents in order to obtain a thorough background and family history.  A child/teen evaluation will consist of one 90 minute session.
I will not address clinical or therapeutic issues via email.

Psychiatric Treatment

I believe an important part of psychiatric treatment is being an empathic listener. That will help communication, which is essential to identify the potential stressors.  Treatments may include:

My small private practice is best suited for providing exceptional care for the conditions listed.  Ideal management of some other conditions requires a larger healthcare system and the availability of multiple providers from various disciplines.

I do not treat patients with the following diagnoses or issues:
⪧ Emergency Care or Inpatient hospitalization
⪧ Bipolar Disorder or schizophrenia
⪧ Significant use of Alcohol marijuana or other drugs
⪧ Court ordered treatment
⪧ Workers compensation Cases
⪧ A legal or administrative component including disability or return to work
⪧ Recurrent suicidal ideation or attempts or self harm
⪧ Dementia
⪧ Geriatric
⪧ Active eating disorders; anorexia or bulimia
